BY FAR has joined forces with American stylist Mimi Cuttrell for a unique collection of shoes and bags. As part of the special collaboration, some of the cult designer accessories brand’s signature styles have been adorned with red carpet-worthy touches, making them a perfect choice for any special occasion. And since Cuttrell, a stylist to A-listers like the Hadid sisters, Ariana Grande, Normani and Lily Rose Depp, is also widely known for her street style looks, there are naturally some everyday wear gems as well.
In addition to featuring BY FAR’s visionary approach to design, Cuttrell, as always, has ensured the beautiful accessories are on trend and promote confidence. The collaboration introduces nine new silhouettes, including two bag styles that meld classic designs with contemporary vibes. And already head-turning, BY FAR’s signature feminine sculptured heels are given some added oomph with Cuttrell’s masterful vision. They appear in various forms and heights, whether on boots, pumps, sandals and sling backs, helping to make the shoe line-up that much more special.
The collection is further enhanced by the delicate play of hues and textures, from BY FAR’s staple semi patent leather to soft French Nappa leather with gloss finish developed especially for the brand. As well as crystals embellishing some of the evening looks, the collection includes some gold-and silver-toned hardware that completes the refined appeal of the designs.
Cuttrell, who is based between New York and Los Angeles, has often collaborated with BY FAR while working on looks for her clients. Describing the brand’s pieces, which are developed between Sofia, London, and Sydney, as “the perfect modern staple,” she feels fortunate to have worked on the collaboration.
“My absolute favourite from the BY FAR x Mimi collection is the 99mm pump. Growing up, my mother always wore elegant vintage pieces,” Cuttrell said. “I inherited that love for timeless clothing from her, and I drew inspiration from that. I love its classic versatility. I wanted this collection to be comfortable, wearable and chic.”
Meanwhile, BY FAR’s Co-Founder Valentina Ignatova said different energies are always motivating. Ignatova, who launched BY FAR with her twin sister Sabina and their best friend Denitsa Bumbarova in 2016, added the collaboration felt really natural as the brand and Cuttrell share “a joint passion for craftsmanship and a strong sense of what women crave.”
