As Proven Robotics Training Center opens its doors in Riyadh, businesses in Saudi Arabia will soon be able to implement robotic technology in the workplace. The center is run by Proven Solution, which has a formal partnership with Softbank Robotics in the Gulf region.
The training center aims to provide robots that are tailor-made for specific fields such as banking, government and public service, education, travel and hospitality, and retail. In fact, depending on what the customer needs, each robot will be able to personally connect with users, while others are ideal for manufacturers, remote learning, sanitation, and more. With their presence in the Kingdom, customers will also be able to receive necessary training, spare parts, and troubleshooting.
Zaid Al Mashari, Principal Proven Robotics, stated that the region has made strides in embracing robotic solutions in various fields. "The concept of robots and humans working alongside each other is fast becoming the new normal. [...] Opening a service center responds to long-standing customer demands for improved after sales services response times, addresses market needs for advanced technological solutions and training and boosts human resources expertise within the kingdom of Saudi Arabia," he said in a recent article by Gulf Business.
In fact, the robot industry may have a bright future ahead, and it's not just limited to the Gulf region. For instance, according to a 2021 report by Statistia, the global robotic industry had tripled, reaching 422,000 units in 2018 and 373,000 in 2019. The global industrial robot market size is currently worth $50.2 billion, while the global service robot market is expected to worth $35 billion in the 2021 - 2025 period. At the time-being, Proven Robotics is looking forward to expanding its operations across Saudi Arabia.
