News content websites and aggregators dominated the first half of the list with the highest unique visitors. Two websites, especially catering to Arab women, made it to the list: leading Arabic women’s magazine Sayidaty (5th rank) and Supermama.me, which offers credible and accurate information for mothers in the Middle East (10th rank). In the realm of a pandemic, as predicted, a health website called Webteb made it to the top 2.
With strong female guidance led by editor-in-chief Lama Al-Shetry, it is no surprise that Sayidaty earned itself a spot in the top 5. Amassing 68 million visitors in 2021, the iconic women’s magazine dominates the digital world with engaging content for all Arab women from all walks of life. Being the first regional website to be on a daily TV show, Sayidaty’s milestones do not stop here. The multi-hyphenate platform also launched websites including kitchen.sayidaty.net, sayidy.net and the new automotive portal cars.sayidaty.net.
The latest numbers show that the magazine’s Youtube channel has a growing fanbase of over 633,000 subscribers with over 164 million views. Sayidaty’s Instagram page has garnered 4 million followers. Follow it here.
Another website that is female-led website is Jordanian Arabic website sotor.com which provides top-notch content on many areas of interest to the Arab reader.
