Saudi Arabia’s pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai is one of the most popular must-visit sites and has welcomed over 3 million visitors since it opened in October 2021 – proving that the kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a point of interest to the world.
Marking the huge accomplishment, the pavilion staff and volunteers hosted a special ceremony and reception in the Open Square and the site’s Palm Garden. With the Saudi Arabian pavilion attracting around a quarter of all Expo 2020 visitors, the entire event itself has bought in over 12 million visitors and counting.
In a statement, Commissioner-general of the Kingdom, Hussain Hanbazazah, said “We are incredibly proud of what the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Pavilion has realized thus far and reaching 3 million visits is evidence of all our achievements to date as well as proof that our concept of sharing the real and authentic Saudi Arabia, driven by our limitless ambitions and efforts, is really resonating with visitors.”
