Whether it’s celebrating a special day like a birthday or baby shower, or just to catch up with besties, teatime really is a timeless and entertaining way to get together. What’s not to like about getting dressed up and chatting away with our trusted friends between sipping tea and trying to bite as daintily as possible into delicious sandwiches, scones and Instagrammable patisserie?
If you’re planning to enjoy this kind of treat-laden gathering soon, Shai Salon, Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is set to wow guests with a special Afternoon Tea. Starting on February 21 for a limited time, the must-try culinary opportunity sees two of the world’s celebrated French pastry chefs collaborating on an unmissable chocolate dessert.
Angelo Musa
World Pastry Champion Angelo Musa is heading to Dubai to link up with pastry prodigy Nicolas Lambert, who is the Senior Executive Pastry Chef at Four Seasons Dubai, so they can whip up the unique creation.
The limited-edition pastry, created with Chocolaterie de L’Opera’s premium variety of chocolate, promises to be a sensational experience. Guests can enjoy it with Musa’s signature Afternoon Tea, which will be served from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Sweet swirl lovers can also try the special dessert at Shai Salon at any point between 12:00 pm and 1:00 am.
Musa also holds the prestigious title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France and is known for his ability to express the full flavour spectrum of a hero ingredient. A worthy partner in pastry, Lambert holds similarly impressive accolades, including a recently awarded Relais Dessert Prix D’Exellence.
He also earned the treasured recognition of Best Pastry Chef in Asia 2018 by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
