Riyadh Season has made significant contributions to Saudi Arabia’s burgeoning tourism sector – namely via Riyadh Season’s events, experiences, activities and more as it has seen millions of visitors since it opened.
The festival opened in October 2021, in time for the pleasant winter temperatures in the Middle East, and has since recorded over 12 million visits in the space of four months, as multiple free-of-charge zones continue receiving people daily.
Riyadh Season hosts over 7,500 entertainment events, such as 70 Arab concerts, six global concerts, 10 global exhibitions, 350 theatrical shows, 18 Arab theatrical plays and six international theatrical plays.
There is also a freestyle wrestling tournament, two international matches, 100 interactive experiments, as well as 200 restaurants and 70 coffee shops that suit individuals, families and children.
The events began on October 20th 2021 across more than 14 entertainment zones across the capital city and has hosted several festivals as well as local and global artists. A number of Arab and non-Arab countries have also participated at Riyadh Boulevard, which happens to be one of the biggest regional entertainment hubs.
