Later this month, Saudi Arabia’s capital of Riyadh will host the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) in collaboration with the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at). The Global Entrepreneurship Congress will be held under the patronage of the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and will be conducted between 27th-30th March 2022.
Over the last 2 years, the kingdom has seen small business take off and contribute to the country’s economy in a positive way, and the new initiative for the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC), comes after Saudi’s achievements of being the place that offers opportunities and ranked forst in indicators including, the “Availability of Good Opportunities to Start a Business,” “Ease of Starting a Business,” “Entrepreneurs’ Response to the Pandemic” and “The Kingdom’s Government Response to the Pandemic” out of 45 other states around the world.

This year’s conference is entitled, "Rethink - Reboot - Regenerate" and is set to be one of the first ever live global events where policy makers, investors and business pioneers from all across the globe will gather to discuss ways in which to rebuild the global economy following the damage caused by the pandemic.
