Expo 2020 Dubai has seen some incredible performances by world renowned bands and artists including the likes of Coldplay and the Blackeyed Peas, and for a grand finale to the 6 month long event, 90’s pop princess, Christina Aguilera will be closing the show alongside a lineup of stars, including Norah Jones and famed cellist, Yo-yo Ma.
Warming up to the evening, at 7pm on March 31st, Mira Singh, the Indian-Belarusian artist will take to the stage once again, as she did at the opening ceremony, which will be followed by Yo-yo Ma who will be performing at the Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre at 8:45 p.m.
Norah Jones will then also be performing some of her most loved songs, at 9pm at the Jubilee Stage, including Come Away With Me,” and “Don’t Know Why.”
To bring the night to a close, international singing superstar, much loved for her sassy style and pop-hits in the 90’s and early 2000’s, Christina Aguilera will be performing at 10:45pm on the Jubilee Stage.
Not only will there be performances by international superstars, but local artists too such as the all-women Firdaus Orchestra, who will perform the UAE national anthem and the UAE based children’s choir.
Those who already have tickets to Expo 2020 can attend the concerts for free, and entry will only be admitted on a first come, first serve basis. Those not able to watch the performances from the sites, can watch across 20 huge screens installed across Expo.
Expo 2020 Dubai will come to a final close with a spectacular fireworks display at 12:00 a.m and 3:00 a.m.
