The Ramadan Shoe Collab You Didn’t Know You Needed

Inspired by quality and function – which is the core philosophy at Birkenstock, Manolo Blahnik has collaborated with the comfy shoe label, furnishing much loved Birkenstock styles with his signature embellishments.

Just two years ago, in 2020, shoe designer, Manolo Blahnik and his niece, company CEO Kristina Blahnik, were featured in Birkenstock’s Spring/Summer campaign. Photographed by Jack Davison in Manolo Blahnik’s first store on Old Church Street, London, the end result of which is this unique collection, just in time for Ramadan.

“Birkenstocks have been in my wardrobe since the very beginning (of time!!)” says Manolo Blahnik, “I have loved and worn mine for many years. I am thrilled that we have been able to collaborate, fusing the Manolo Blahnik aesthetic with the everyday comfort of Birkenstocks is simply wonderful!”

The collection reinvents the Birkenstock style, featuring Manolo Blahnik’s trademark emphasis on all eye-catching details. Embellished with crystals and packaged in exclusive polka dot shoebox and dust bag following traditional Manolo Blahnik design, this jewel colored, opulent collection accommodates the best elements of both brands.

Our favorite styles, such as Arizona and Boston are reimagined in regal fuchsia and blue velvets, with large crystal detailing, elevating your Birkenstocks for the evening. These styles, for all you minimalists, also come in a smooth black leather with a sparkling twist, courtesy of Manolo Blahnik’s glamorous vision. All styles maintain the anatomical shaped cork foot bed in premium soft leather, accompanied by premium embellished crystals. The Manolo Blahnik for Birkenstock collaboration envisions a regal and remarkable twist.

The first release of the collaboration is available at 1774.com, manoloblahnik.com, all Manolo Blahnik retail locations, as well as selected retailers worldwide now. The second release of styles will launch in June 2022.
