The 1 Billion Meals Initiative is a follow-up to last year’s 100 Million Meals Initiative. Launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, it aims to provide food to underserved and/or vulnerable communities worldwide, while working with the World Food Program (WFP) and others for distribution of food parcels.
