Supermodel, mother, activist, and now creative director is another role that Gigi Hadid is adding to her repertoire as she has just announced that she will be launching her very own clothing line. In a conversation with American Vogue, the part-Palestinian model stated, “working on my clothing line has been incredible because it’s a different setting, where I get to be involved in team-building and designs.” She continued, “I’m just trying to be creative all the time, and keep coming up with ways that I can put that into the world in a way that touches people.”
This isn’t Gigi’s first design rodeo however, as she has previously collaborated with American designer, Tommy Hilfiger on four collections, as well as designing an eyewear collection with Vogue Eyewear in 2017 that, unsurprisingly, sold out immediately!
Gigi Hadid is not only hard at work creating her own fashion label, but is also about to embark on her TV presenting career as she will co-host the second season of “Next In Fashion,” with British TV host, Tan France. She said, “I’m so excited…We’re working with the production team right now, finalizing guest judges and episodes with the hope that the audience feels how much fun and love we’re putting into everything,”

Amid all the work she is taking on as a TV host and fashion designer, and taking care of her daughter, Kai, Hadid has decided to take a step back from modelling to make room for the emerging models all vying for opportunities within the competitive modelling industry.
Being one of the most in demand faces, Gigi was awarded International Model of the Year in 2016 and has stormed the runway for some of the world’s biggest fashion maisons, has been the face of high end campaigns and has starred on the covers of numerous publications globally.
