Founded in Lebanon by passionate cook, creative and foodie Batoul Maria, the seriously cool, gourmet fast-food concept has landed in the UAE to shake up its burger scene.
The brand is all about fresh, top of the line ingredients and groovy dishes that are made with love, prepared with panache and deliver big on taste. Additionally, the dishes make for incredible social media posts and are extremely affordable, with all items on the menu under AED 50.
Whether it’s the burgers with juicy, fully loaded patties, baos, hot dogs or flavour-packed sandwiches, the mouthwatering on-trend eats that come with moreish sauces are not to be missed. Funky Bun also has some must-try side dishes on the small but mighty menu, including loaded fries.
Highlights from the menu include the Funky Chicken Burger, which comes with crispy, tender fried chicken topped with melted cheese, crunchy slaw, caramelised onions, pickles and a generous handful of crushed Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Then there’s the Funky Smashburger that contains soft, well-seasoned chuck patties, shredded lettuce, onions and lashings of Funky Sauce, all piled into a golden potato bun. Other highlights are the signature Funky Fries, a Mac N’ Cheetos that offers a whole new riff on the traditional dish and a Funky Cheesy Sandwich that comes dripping with two types of fried cheese, a special sauce and crushed Cheetos.
Meanwhile, the Inventive appetizers include delights such as sweet-with-a-kick-of-heat Flamin’ Glazed Chicken Puffs, Funky Mozzarella Sticks that provide the cheese pull you’ve been craving and Flamin’ Corn dripping with butter and special sauce.
