In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, sneaker and streetwear festival, Sole DXB took a two year hiatus – but has just announced that it’ll be making a comeback this year.
Sole DXB is the region’s biggest urban culture festival and will be returning on 9th-11th December 2022. It is yet to be revealed where this year’s event will take place, but its highly likely that Dubai Design District will be hosting it once again.
The festival’s organizers made the announcement on the SoleDXB Instagram account, making a call to their thousands of followers that include, sneaker collectors, basketball fans, hip hop enthusiasts, and fashion lovers, with the caption “We’re back. Dec. 9-11, 2022.”
Every year, Sole DXB brings music, entertainment and street-style to their chosen venue, where attendees have enjoyed performances by major hip-hop artists including Wu-Tang Clan, American rapper Nas, and British singer Stormzy, as well as shop local and international streetwear brands.
There is no information just yet about who might be performing this year, but we have a feeling it’ll be major. Until then, we’ll be watching this space…
