With such a major turnout for the Saudi Food Expo 2022, organizers made the decision to extend the event by an extra day. Around 220 food and beverage companies gathered to participate in the event to showcase their offerings and bring in new business.
Expo director, Wael Al-Sebai, described the event as “a platform for many local and international exhibitors, from enterprises, suppliers and investors, to generate new chances, interact and expand.” The Saudi Food Expo began on Monday 16th May 2022, and its organizers were keen to see how the event contributed to the development of the sector – especially because of the participation of the exhibitors, who’s offerings included, food, restaurants, coffee, luxury resorts and hotels.

Wael Al-Sebai is also the general manager of business development at International Arabian Exhibitions, also saw the expo as an opportunity for networking and connecting with industry leaders in the international food and beverage industry, as well as a marketing opportunity for the participating establishments.

Hameed saw a number of visitors to the Saudi Food Expo question the authenticity of the Saudi products, and made it a point to convey that the products there are all Saudi owned, and produced and 100% natural and available to purchase online.
