Dubai is a favorite Gulf destination amongst tourists, renowned for its myriad of shopping malls, hotels, tourist attractions, and more. Of course, this is not forgetting fantastic deals and discounts and, this summer, the city is planning something big. Starting from July, Dubai Summer Surprises will be returning for its 25th edition with fun activities, bargains, and offers for vacation goers and shoppers.
On the first day, Dubai Summer Surprises will kick off with fireworks at Burj Khalifa. From July 1 to September 4, it will host a total of 17 festivals offering anything from shopping deals to fun activities for families. Whether it's shopping, restaurants and cafes, hotels, or entertainment, locals and tourists will be offered deals they can't resist. There will also be live performances in addition to raffle prizes. To give an idea as to what prizes could be won, last year's prizes included cars, event tickets, and daily cash prizes reaching up to Dhs10,000 each.
If you're traveling to Dubai to learn about Emirati culture, then Dubai Summer Surprises will have you covered. Last year's edition held the Heritage Tour, which was a guided tour through the historical Al Fahidi neighborhood. This is in addition to the Cultural Breakfast and Culture on Wheels. In general, visitors are usually treated to cultural events such as art workshops, theater performances, and more.
Dubai Summer Surprises is an annual summer event held by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE). As a means to position the Emirati city as a tourist destination, the 10-week event aims to highlight the best features of Dubai in addition to providing fun activities and events to both locals and tourists.
