On August 1st 2022, a new public exhibition was unveiled to showcase detailed designs of Saudi Arabia’s first ever linear city, The Line by NEOM. Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohamed Bin Salman Al Saud, announced the designs of the city last month, and this exhibition is a way for him to share the incredible details and key points of the city, from architectural concepts to virtual renders, with the public.
The Line by NEOM is a unique, yet complex project; designed to be a city of the future, the concept is a sustainable one and the exhibition conveys the details and key features of the city in layman terms for the general public. There are 50 guided tours of the exhibition per day in both Arabic and English and it is located at a new venue, the Superdome of Jeddah.
NEOM is better known for hosting heritage, history and culture in the kingdom, and now there will be a futuristic and never-been-seen-before concept that will be situated there. The exhibition showcases many details of the new city, and visitors will have the opportunity to get a feel of what the new city will feel like as they will be able to see the model representations of it.
Tickets for the exhibition are available online on Hala Yalla for free entry. Currently being held only in Jeddah, the exhibition will be moving to other Saudi cities including the Eastern Province and Riyadh.
