A prominent personality in the Middle East, Hatem Alakeel’s audio-visual podcast, Gems of Arabia, has debuted its third season with a significant difference – he is collaborating with renowned UK-based luxury retailer Harrods. This is the first-ever formal Middle Eastern collaboration between a growing podcast that was launched in 2021 and Harrods, a department store founded in 1849. Working together on a podcast series with the subject of linking generations through culture.
Hatem, who has been hailed as a creative genius and anointed the king of thobes, highlighted creativity in the Middle East, notably Saudi Arabia, and provided a window into the minds that are currently reshaping the region in his previous shows.
Hatem will interview some of the regions most esteemed guests from inside Harrods, Knightsbridge. Inspirational personalities, who are shattering stereotypes, enthralling, altering the storyline, and improving the Arab landscape. What to expect from the podcasts depends on what Hatem discusses, which might range from business and fashion to art, culture, and legacy, among other things. More significantly though, he will emphasize the crucial move that most creative professions are making toward becoming more approachable and humble.
