It’s a boy! Having always been a motherly figure to her younger siblings and cousins, Paris Hilton has officially become a mum! The 41 year old reality TV star and heiress welcomed her first baby with husband, Carter Reum, via surrogate.
Of course, Paris Hilton took to Instagram to share the happy news of her baby’s arrival on 24th January 2023, as she posted a photo of her baby boy’s fingers gripping her well-manicured finger. “You are already loved beyond words,” she captioned the photo, adding a blue heart emoji.
The heiress kept the news of the surrogacy under wraps, but has been open about her journey with fertility and its challenges. Her mother, Kathy Hilton, also a star on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, had shared in an interview that Paris was “trying and trying” to get pregnant, before Paris went on to share on her Instagram stories, “The truth is, my husband and I wanted to enjoy our first year of marriage together as a couple and we were always planning on starting our family in 2023.” She added, “IVF is always a journey for everything but we’re so fortunate that we have lots of healthy embryos ready and waiting to be part of our Cutesy Crew! As everyone knows I have an extremely busy work and travel schedule but nothing gets me more excited than becoming a mom in 2023!”
Paris Hilton and Carter Reum, a venture capitalist, got married in 2021 at Hilton’s grandfather’s former estate in Bel Air.
Where we haven’t heard much about what Paris has been up to in terms of her career since she released her emotional documentary about the abuse she suffered at a school set up for wayward teens, she did bring back memories in time for New Year’s Eve 2022. Paris Hilton's pop career was brief but was responsible for one of the most enduring hits of the Y2K era: "Stars Are Blind." Hilton re-released the club hit just in time for New Year's Eve - in full Y2K glam.
Hilton shared the news of "Stars Are Blind (Paris's Version)” on Instagram after a few days of teasing an upcoming announcement that would, in her words, "break the Internet."
Congratulations, Paris Hilton!
