Not her first time performing for her fans in Saudi Arabia, Alicia Keys is returning to the kingdom to perform in Al Ula on 24th February 2023.
The American singer-songwriter, best known for her hits including New York and You Don’t Know My Name, will take to the stage at the mirrored Maraya Concert Hall, as part of the Al Ula Arts Festival, which starts on Thursday 16th February and will run until 28th February.
The singer had also debuted in the kingdom at the same venue as her fans made their way along ancient, winding roads, weaving through intricate rocky formations, to see her performance. Alicia Keys will also host a second edition of her Women to Women talk on 25th February at Madrasat Addeera where she and her panel will discuss female empowerment initiatives and the overall progress of women in the Arab region.
Highly talented, Keys is a classically trained pianist and first started composing songs at the age of 12 and was signed by Columbia Records by the time she was 15. Since then, she has sold more than 90 million records, making her one of the world’s best-selling music artists. She was named by Billboard as the top R&B artist of the 2000s decade.
Her performance in Al Ula is presented by Good Intentions, a newly launched Saudi Arabia- based creative consultancy co-founded by Kasseem “Swizz Beats” Dean, who is the singer’s husband and co-produced her latest album, “Keys.”
