Australian-Lebanese influencer turned model has added yet another high end label to her repertoire of powerful collaborations. An influencer, actress, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Kahawaty took to social media earlier this week to announce that she has partnered up with luxury Italian fashion house, Gucci.
Kahawaty shared a reel of herself starring in the ad campaign, championing Gucci’s classic Jackie bag, and captioned the post, “It’s here! Your girl is GUCCI Jackie. Honored to have worked on this creative and adventurous filled, multi-personality campaign with @Gucci - because we’re all a little Gucci inside,” as she shared the news with her 1.2 million followers.
In the advertisement, the Dubai based influencer was seen showcasing the it bag in a number of colors, and with each color switch, she was also seen changing her hair color. Her hair color and style was changed from her natural brunette shade to blonde, then ginger, then black. It seemed she took a liking to a sleek black bob wig as she asked her followers whether she should have her natural hair cut and dyed in the same style.
Kahawaty has a long history of working with international luxury labels including the likes of Tod’s, Prada, Boucheron, and Chloe, just to name a few. Recently, she had also appeared in a digital campaign for Hugo Boss Spring/Summer 2023 alongside major industry names such as Gigi Hadid, Demi Lovato, Pairs Hilton, Maluma, Bella Throne, Naomi Campbell and more.
Seemingly booked and busy, that’s not all Jessica Kahawaty has been up to as the model also walked for fellow Lebanese designer, Georges Hobeika during Paris Haute Couture Week in January – which was her couture week debut. She graced the runway in a blue voluminous satin gown topped off with an embroidered floor-length coat. Her mother, Rita Kahawaty, also walked for the designer. Jessica said in a statement about her experience, “Walking right behind my mother in Paris Haute Couture for Georges Hobeika is a memory I’ll never forget.”
Jessica is passionate about her charity work, most recently she has been campaigning and supporting for the people affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, sharing videos and links to charitable organizations, as she urges people to donate to the cause. For her own contribution, Kahawaty conveyed that she would be donating the earnings from her partnership with Prada to charities that are helping the victims of the earthquake.
