Her Royal Highness Princess Sora bint Saud has launched yet another unique concept in Saudi Arabia. HRH has always been avid in the world of entrepreneurship with many brands on her roster, including fashion, non-profit, and more.
Now, she has founded SO. Fleur, a unique combination of a gourmet restaurant and a boutique-style mini-market. The dining destination is elegant and versatile, with stunning floral arrangements adoring all its corners. It is on Prince Turki Al Awwal Street and has garnered quite the attention so far.
HRH Princess Sora bint Saud talks to an online outlet and tells them her vision of the place, “I envisioned SO. Fleur as a place you don’t want to leave, where you find inspiration as you linger in its beauty. My vision was to create the feeling of a conservatory.”
The cuisine is French Mediterranean with resounding star players such as Filet Mignon, Chevre Chaud, and Mille Feuille Potato. SO. Fleur also offers a delectable pastry section that you can pair with an array of teas and coffee.
If you’re in the mood for a fresh drink, the bar serves some invigorating, personalized mocktails. They’ve thought of everything, because there is also a high-end takeaway section that is perfect for those on the go.
Now, let’s talk about the design, because it is one of the most refined styles we’ve seen lately. SO. Fleur’s boasts high ceilings, white tablecloths, velvet chairs, striking columns, and glittering chandeliers. Even the dishes are a pleasure to look at! Most of the items you would order on the menu are garnished with flowers.
Her Royal Highness Princess Sora continues to describe the new Riyadh hotspot, saying, “The flagship store boasts a floral section filled with creatively built bouquets. An upper mezzanine level housing an open mirror room, perfect for company-hosted classes or rentable event space.”
Robert Koene is the resident Master Florist behind the arrangements, who is also hosting some of the flower masterclasses. Yes! You can even attend classes at SO. Fleur, from calligraphy workshops to flower masterclasses.
