Lebanese model and influencer Nour Arida has been awarded the prestigious Arab Women of The Year award at a ceremony in London. Hosted by the London Arabia Organization, the event aims to recognize the outstanding achievements of Arab women worldwide.
The 33-year-old Paris-based model, signed with Elite Models Paris agency, has years of experience in the fashion industry. She has worked with top international brands including Boucheron, Makeup Forever, and Rimmel, and has graced the covers of numerous magazines. Arida was appointed as Boucheron’s global brand spokesperson in 2020, joining the likes of US actress Kate Winslet and French model Laetitia Cast to front key campaigns.
Arida is known for her glamorous appearances at various fashion weeks in New York, Milan, and Paris, and has also turned heads at the Cannes Film Festival and Venice Film Festival. Before her career as a successful fashion blogger and designer, she worked as a buyer and brand manager for several prestigious fashion labels, including Rag & Bone, Zimmermann, and Theory.
At the London ceremony, Arida looked stunning in a custom-made green velvet dress designed by Lebanese designer Karoline Lang. She accessorized her outfit with jewelry from the Parisian luxury label Chaumet. Arida expressed her gratitude on Instagram, sharing pictures from the event with her 11 million followers.
“This award for me is yet another promise that I will continue to lend my voice to every woman undergoing any sort of violence and to do the best I can to help fight for their rights,” she wrote.
Arida’s celebrity friends, including Lebanese actress Cynthia Samuel, Danish influencer Pernille Teisbaek, and Saudi social media star Alanoud Badr, congratulated her on her achievement.
This award is a testament to Arida’s talent, hard work, and dedication to the fashion industry, as well as her commitment to empowering women and raising awareness about violence against women.
