Jean Paul Gaultier recently revealed the best way to stage a first event in the Middle East; invite the region’s top VIPS, press and retailers and blow them away with a huge surprise. To celebrate SCANDAL, the new fragrance from the House of Jean Paul Gaultier, guests were invited to Dubai’s Bagatelle, a location embodying the quintessential French identity of the brand, yet little did they know a big shocker was waiting for them at Cirque le Soir.
The aptly named perfume, remember Gaultier is the man who gave Madonna supersonic-conic breasts and put men in skirts, is for the strong and freethinking woman. With notes of blood orange, honey, patchouli and gardenia, it was created to “entirely embody.” Plus, rather than the bust themed bottle the brand has become synonymous with over the last 20 years, there’s a pair of legs pointing skyward that is evocative of the gaiety that can be found under the Parisian stars.
From the A-listers to the head-turning décor, here’s a look at how Gaultier made celebrating the unique scent unforgettable.
