LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, a French luxury conglomerate, has become a premium partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. As part of this partnership, LVMH's artisans from various luxury brands within the group will be involved, including Parisian jeweler Chaumet, which will design the prestigious Olympic and Paralympic medals.
During the games, wines and spirits produced by Moet Hennessy will be served to hospitality guests, and Sephora will be a partner for the Olympic Torch Relay, providing activations for the public along the relay route and at various Group locations.
Leading fashion houses such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Berluti, under the tagline 'Artisan of All Victories' and with approval from Paris 2024, will undertake various engagements between now and the opening ceremony.
LVMH will also provide direct support to certain athletes, referred to as 'Artisans of All Victories,' who have inspiring stories and exceptional achievements. One of the supported athletes is swimmer Léon Marchand, a 21-year-old who has already won three world champion titles, holds the world record for the 400-meter individual medley, and is a medal hopeful for the French Olympic team.
Bernard Arnault, the chairman and CEO of LVMH, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating that it will contribute to enhancing the appeal of France worldwide. He emphasized the alignment of the values of passion, excellence, and inclusion championed by high-level sports with the ethos of LVMH and its Maisons (luxury houses).
Furthermore, LVMH is collaborating with its long-standing partner, the French charity Secours populaire français, to enable access to sports for 1,000 children and young people aged four to 25 living in vulnerable situations. The group will provide funding for sports association memberships, training programs, and beginner classes as part of this initiative.
