Rising model Mona Tougaard has once again left her mark in the fashion world, this time with a captivating campaign for the iconic French brand Chanel. The multi-ethnic runway star, boasting Danish, Turkish, Somali, and Ethiopian heritage, took to Instagram this week to unveil her latest collaboration with the luxury label in their "Summer To-Go Essentials" campaign.
In a series of photos and a short video, Tougaard achieved a radiant and bronzed summer look using Chanel's "Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream." The tutorial showcased her expert application skills using the kabuki brush, accentuating the areas that the sun naturally graces: cheeks, nose, forehead, chin, and décolleté. The product, available in a convenient travel-size (15 g), promises a luminous glow throughout summer.
Tougaard's charm and elegance radiated in the campaign video as she flawlessly used the water-fresh tint from Chanel's Les Beiges range. A unique touch to her application was seen as she applied the tint to her collarbone, further enhancing her natural radiance.
This isn't Tougaard's first collaboration with Chanel. In July, she graced the cobblestoned paths along the Seine River for the label's haute couture collection in Paris. The collection, described by Chanel's creative director, Virginie Viard, as a portrayal of a "sensitive yet bold Parisienne," featured a delicate balance between strength and delicacy. Tougaard showcased her versatility by donning a black straight-leg jumpsuit with floral embellishments.
The model's portfolio is expanding rapidly, having previously worked with Italian luxury fashion house Tod's under the creative direction of Walter Chiapponi. Tougaard exudes sophistication in Tod's campaign, featuring their signature accessories including the Di Bag and newly designed loafers with intricate horse-bit details. In a stunning image shared on social media, Tougaard elegantly poses in Tod's latest trench coat while clutching their T Case trunk bag.
Mona Tougaard's journey began when she was scouted at the age of 12, and her modelling career blossomed at the age of 15. Her collaboration with prestigious fashion houses like Chanel and Tod's continues to underscore her status as a leading figure in the fashion world, embracing her diverse heritage and captivating audiences with her natural grace and style.
