Six-year-old Anastasia Knyazeva has been dubbed the ‘most beautiful girl in the world.' The Russian girl has become a famous child model thanks to her gorgeous doll-like features, particularly her huge, arresting eyes. She already has over 500,000 followers on Instagram, which is probably more than some of our favourite reality TV stars. The account, which has been handled by her mother, Anna, since she was just four years old, has people from every corner of the world, including Brazil and Indonesia, mesmerised. Her pictures, whether she’s on a photo shoot or doing something behind-the-scenes, get hundreds of comments like, "OMG, I think she is the most beautiful girl on the earth." Another adoring fan wrote, “This is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Her eyes."
While other children are playing with fidget spinners or collecting points on Candy Crush, Anastasia, known as Anna, has been busy developing a successful modelling career. She has starred in high-profile advertising campaigns, including those for Chobi Kids, a huge brand in her homeland, Amoreco and Kisabiano. The blue-eyed youngster also became the face of Little Miss Aoki, a line from children’s couture house Mischka Aoki, last year.

Anastasia, who is represented by President Kids Management, is being branded the new Thylane Blondeau. Thylane, who has piercing blue eyes as well, was also famously hailed ‘the most beautiful girl in the world.’ Thylane, walked the ramp for Jean Paul Gaultier at age four and became the youngest ever model to star in French “Vogue” when she was 10. The French stunner who is now a 16-year-old social media influencer, recently became a brand ambassador for L'Oréal Paris and wowed the crowds while sitting front row at the Michael Kors show and taking to the runway for Dolce and Gabbana during Milan Fashion Week.
Is Anastasia Too Young To Be On Instagram?
Exposing child models and children in general to social media at a very young age is a topic well worth pondering. The most important aspect is security, as sharing pictures and social content of children online could be putting them at risk. Even if it was a joke, the fact one person commented by asking Anastasia out on a date is worrying and creepy. Another concern psychologists have is that when parents start posting pictures of children without their consent, their kids may have issues with the pictures, for example if they’re topless or in the bath, when they’re older. Plus, while those cute images get positive feedback, they also open up the possibility of online abuse, which can be detrimental for a child’s self-esteem once they can read. Another thing to think about is the fact parents are creating a voice or identity for their children that isn’t actually theirs at all.
While Anastasia has a huge number of supportive followers, some feel she is just too young to be on Instagram. People have shown concern about her wearing make-up, while others feel she should just be able to lead a normal childhood.
