Mohammed Fahad Al-Harthi
Group Editor-in-chief of AboutHer.com, Sayidaty, Al Jamila and Arrajol magazines, Mohammed Fahad Al-Harthi will be a keynote speaker at the Wan-Ifra International Media Congress in Dubai this month.
The two-day event will take place on the 28th of February and 1st of March, where Al-Harthi will present a talk entitled “Content and the Urge to Buy: Interdependent Correlation,” which discusses the core link between the power of content and it’s intent with the desire of the reader to make a purchase via various printed and digital media outlets.
The Editor-in-Chief will also be providing tangible examples from AbutHer.com, Sayidaty Magazine, Al Jamila, and their electronic platforms.
This will be the 13th Wan-Ifra International Media event. The congress will offer defined strategies on products, innovative business models, digital subscriptions and newsroom management, addressed by prominent figures of the publishing and media industry, including Saleh Al-Humaidan, head of the Wan-Ifra committee Middle East, and Ulbe Jelluma, managing director of Print Power Europe.
The World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers, Wan-Ifra, will also grant awards to publishing houses who have adopted dynamic digital media strategies as part of their product to be at speed with their readers and the way in which they receive news and information today.
The winners of the awards will also be announced at the event.
