MOE Fashion Live, a weekend full of live fashion, beauty and style experiences, took visitors on a style journey in the heart of Mall of the Emirates. During the event, which took place 22-24 March, guests were able to immerse themselves in all things fashion, style and beauty-related, listen to live fashion and beauty talks and get tips from the experts while they shared their take on SS18 trends. Plus, the event, in partnership with Harvey Nichols, Carolina Herrera and Etoile La Boutique, saw regional digital fashion influencers and style icons present their SS18 curated collections and share seasonal styling insights.
The talented Rosemin Manji hosted the three-day signature event by Mall of the Emirates. Canadian-born Manji is the Founder of PR&Co. Bespoke Luxury Management, one of the most influential tailored luxury management firms in the Middle East. The fashionista and entrepreneur is also a stylist to the stars and brand ambassador for some of the world’s most renowned labels.
DAY 1: This is when talks on all things fashion and beauty took place at Harvey Nichols. Speakers included Musaed Al Mutairi, the Kuwait-based fashion maven with an attention-grabbing social media profile who curates wardrobes for high profile people in the region. Plus, Mahira Abdel Aziz, the impressive medal-winning architect and mother who is anchoring the morning show on Al-Arabiyah TV, put in an appearance. So did Saudi-Lebanese Alanoud Badr (aka Lady Fozaza), the creator of statement blazers worn by international and regional celebrities, consultant and stylist.
DAY 2: MOE Fashion Live teamed up with Carolina Herrera at Harvey Nichols during the second day. One of the most noteworthy speakers was Nina Ali. The 38-year-old Lebanese American is the mum of three behind @LipstickMommy, an online treasure trove about beauty, lifestyle and motherhood. As well as 177k followers on Instagram, she has a Snapchat account and a blog in the works. Another prominent Dubai-based figure was Dana Malhas, the former force behind Jeddah’s Cream Boutique. Magazines like “Harper’s Bazaar” and “Grazia” have lauded the Saudi-Palestinian influencer, who has collaborated with major brands like Chanel, Dior and Fendi.
DAY 3: On the final day, Etoile La Boutique and Italian cosmetics brand Kiko Cosmetics held talks about the trendiest international beauty looks from around the world. Celebrated speakers included Fatima Al Momen, who started off as an architecture graduate and became a trusted make-up and style expert. The Kuwaiti beauty with a large following has worked with many international brands. Hannah Rasekh, a Jordanian/British fashion and lifestyle influencer and digital entrepreneur, was also there to lend her know-how. Rasekh, who lives in Dubai, has partnered with several international brands like Bloomingdale’s, Hermès and Christian Dior.
