Tiny drops of morning dew stuck to insects look like giant crystal balls under a macro lens.
The water droplets cling to the creatures, sticking to their hairs and antennae, which are usually invisible to the naked eye.
The brightly coloured garden bugs were photographed by Khairul Bustomi, 33, at his home in Batam, Indonesia.
He said: "My favourite is the photo of the robber fly where his eyes are full of water droplets.
"Macro photography is a hobby of mine because of the amazing little world the photos capture - the colour and detail of the insect life that we rarely notice."
