Arab Watch Lovers Unite at Saudi’s First Salon Des Grandes Complications

Salon des Grandes Complications was held for the first time in Saudi Arabia, in Riyadh’s Al Faisaliah Hotel from 8-11 May, featuring some of the world’s most reputable and respected horological brands under one roof. During the fine watchmaking exhibition there was a wide-ranging display of groundbreaking innovations, novelties and unique timepieces from companies like Chopard, Breitling, Bvlgari, Girard-Perregaux, and Vacheron Constantin. And enthusiastic watch aficionados were able to closely inspect what the watchmakers that have crafted some of the most complicated and highly valued timepieces ever had to offer.

Salon des Grandes Complications, which has seen work from winners of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève and Middle East Watch of the Year, has been an annual event in the UAE since 2014. The first Saudi edition took place alongside the Kingdom’s most prestigious jewellery exhiibiton, Jewellery Salon.
