Paris Haute Couture Week & Paris Fashion Week

The French fashion’s governing organization, the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM), has officially canceled the couture and men’s fashion weeks. Men’s SS2021 shows were initially scheduled from the 23rd to 28th of June and Paris Couture Week just a week later from the 5th-9th of July. The FHCM sent out a public statement to the entire fashion industry, which read: “In light of the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic worldwide, strong decisions are required to ensure the safety and health of houses, their employees, and everyone working in our industry. The Fédération is actively working with its members on possible alternatives,” which could mean that the shows might take place on a different platform (hello digital!).
