Sheikha Hind Bahwan, the Omani founder of global tech ventures Bahwan CyberTek and dt360, is onto another winning venture. OJAR is a new fragrance line that offers a fusion of East and West, as well as modernity and traditional harmony. While founding the brand, the entrepreneur and recipient of many honours, including France’s Legion of Honour, ensured it pays tribute to the art and rituals of Middle Eastern perfume making.
“I see perfume as a lifestyle, it is a signature that you bring wherever you go,” Sheikha Hind, who is behind the fragrance collection, design and visual campaign, says.
The collection of unisex perfume oils is created and produced by renowned Swiss perfume house Givaudan. The 18 individual fragrances, including “Cirrus Leather,” “Mahrajan” and “Wood Whisperer” are based on six core ingredients: oud, rose, frankincense, honey, sandalwood and musk.
Absolutes Oud
The alcohol-free perfume oil “Absolute” is described as the brand’s hero product. Coming in a 20ml travel-friendly format, the perfume is 25 percent concentrated and lasts 10 hours. What’s more it boasts a never seen before double cap usage that features a roll on and a glass stick applicator.
