Arabian-Inspired Recipes For A Fancy-Looking 3-Course Dinner

You don’t need to be intimidated by the entertaining process thanks to some inspiration from a determined “Yalla Neta’sha” contestant.

“Yalla Neta’sha,” the local version of “Come Dine With Me,” the household show across the globe, has become renowned for its distinctive and uncompromising humour and heartfelt moments. Given a twist of Arab wit by Egyptian comedian and TV host Khalid Mansour, the 45-episode Arabic series also provides oodles of inspiration for hosts planning to throw a dinner party.

If you have a gathering in the works and are on the lookout for some tantilising dishes that will wow the crowd, here are the complete recipes for the appetizer, main course and dessert contestant Dima Mosally served up in episode eight. The winning recipes can be easily recreated, preventing you from turning you into a ball of stress.

Appetizer – Bulgur Salad

The ingredients:
1. 1 cup fine bulgur
2. 1 medium sized onion 
3. 1tbsp salt 
4. 2tsp red pepper paste 
5. 1 tsp ground cumin 
6. 3 tbsp top pomegranate molasses
7. 1 tbsp canned tomato sauce 
8. ½ tsp ground black pepper 
9. Lettuce 
10. 1 green onion
11. 1 medium tomato 
12. Parsley 
13. 1/3 cups of olive oil 
14.    Few mint leaves  

Preparation:
1. Wash the bulgur and leave a little of the water in it for one hour. Then add to a blender with the tomato past, onion and the rest of the ingredients, except the lettuce. 
2. Combine the ingredients well, then chop the lettuce finely and add to the mixture.
3. Prepare lettuce leaves on the side and scoop the mixture into each leaf and serve. Serve the salad in a dish along with lettuce leaves.
