This Saudi Luxury Shoe Designer Has A Collaboration With Shoemart

Tell us a little about your background and your foray into shoe design?

After I decide to pursue this passion and sculpted with professional knowledge, I went to Milan to study this field and understand it in-depth. Since then I’ve been teaching myself and learning everyday about this field with full passion and vision to make a difference in the industry of shoes design and shoe making.

How do you think your Arab heritage influences your flair for shoe design?

Arab designers in general and Saudis in particular stand out. We are heavily influenced by our culture, religion and tradition, art, and our upbringing, which bring forth contradictions and limitations that made us more expressive. The way we design, paint, create and translate ourselves into the pieces we create. We are exposed to everywhere else, so we can create pieces that have a unique twist and message than the rest of the world.

You are known better for your luxury shoe label, what led you to collaborate with an affordable label like Shoemart?

The world is not the same again after the pandemic, and the financial situation is not any different. Yes, I’m known for my luxury taste and love for real and genuine fabrics and leather, but I’m also known for caring about the end user in terms of quality and comfort. The Shoemart collaboration came in when both of us wanted to deliver the best quality yet make it affordable, stylish and suit the market well. We would like everyone to buy more than one pair, so design and price is key here.

What can we expect from your collection with Shoemart?

Your shoes are your statement, and this collection will translate that into confidence. No matter what your personality, the Lulu Loves Celeste collection has them all – pointed heels, peep-toe mules, strappy stilettos, textured flats, platform heels, sling-backs and square toe styles. Each piece is named distinctively and inspired by the varied personalities of women such as “chic, independent, delightful,” and “picky,” to name a few. Crafted in satin with characteristic draping and styling, these shoes will elevate your Eid wardrobe and are perfect for lavish festivities and quiet home celebrations alike. I believe this is a long-term relationship, the team has good experience in the market and I see a wonderful opportunity to do more fun successful things together, and I am positive that we will sell out soon on this one!

What is your favorite pair of shoes from the forthcoming collaboration?

I love the “attractive” and “lively” styles as they fit everywhere, for every day and are definitely travel friendly of shoes.

What has set Lu Vixen aside from other labels in the luxury market?

The story behind Lu Vixen plays a role in this, but also the designs I made for it is not very common. This might not reflect yet on the first launched capsule collection, but you will definitely see it with the coming season. As I mentioned, Lu Vixen shoes are the lingerie of the feet!

Who is the Lu Vixen woman?

She is very tough, strong and a smart lady with a full feminine vibe and she is confident and daring, yet soft and sweet when required. You can recognize a Lu Vixen woman by her charisma from the moment you look at her.
