As part of the ongoing Riyadh Season, Saudi Arabia has just launched the largest perfume exhibition in the region. Currently being held at Riyadh Front, it aims to bring together perfume brands and enthusiasts, and is set to run till March 14, 2022.
The exhibition is being held by the General Entertainment Authority in partnership with the beauty e-commerce, Boutiqaat. The perfume pavilion is said to take up an area measuring over 40,000 square meters. Over 200 luxury and international perfume brands are featured in addition to the launch of new fragrances by existing brands. In fact, regional brands are also partaking in the exhibition including Abdul Samad Al-Qurashi, Al-Dakhil for Oud, Al-Majed Oud, Galimard, and Reef.

The exhibition also has workshops where perfume brands can connect with customers, while offering discounts on some of their products. In addition, attendees were given the opportunity to mix different perfumes to create their own fragrances. Visitors will also get the chance to meet with over 500 celebrities and influencers. In addition to entry tickets costing between SAR 25 and SAR 40, the exhibition is selling VIP tickets for SAR 500. This gives attendees the chance to access the VIP lounge, which includes food and beverage, and live performances.

Indeed, Saudi Arabia is home to one of the largest perfume industries in the region, as Prescient & Strategic Intelligence has put the Kingdom’s perfume market value at over $1.7 billion by 2020. In spite of the COVID-19 pandemic, it predicts that the value may reach over $3.8 billion by 2030 or a market growth rate of 8.2% in the 2020 - 2030 period.
