5 Internationally Celebrated Restaurants Are Hosting Pop-Ups At Jeddah Season 2022

From authentic Italian cuisine to Detroit-style pizzas and the flavours found in the Côte d'Azur and the toddy shops and streets of Sri Lanka, the festival has become a real foodie heaven!

Returning to Saudi Arabia after nearly three years, the second edition of Jeddah Season has seen visitors flocking to the long-awaited festival reflecting Jeddah’s rich culture and heritage, as well as its maturing status as a key regional tourist destination. With around 2,800 spectacular art, entertainment and cultural events and shows, under the theme of “Our Lovely Days,” there really is something for everyone at the mega event. And now, with an impressive amount of award-winning international culinary concepts hosting pop-up restaurants, that includes ardent foodies. If you’re one, expect to be blown away while dining at globally renowned eateries Madeo, Le Comptoir de Nicole, Emmy Squared Pizza, Le Vesuvio and Hoppers during the citywide festival, which is continuing throughout June.

Visitors will get the chance to enjoy limited menus to sample each restaurant’s unique culinary offering, available for dinner during weekdays, as well as lunch and dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Le Comptoir de Nicole

One of France’s buzziest and most celebrated bistros, Le Comptoir de Nicole is transporting the brand’s unmistakable Côte d’Azur spirit to Jeddah. Visitors will have the opportunity to indulge in Le Comptoir de Nicole’s authentic Mediterranean menu and most in-demand recipes with delicious flavours from the French Riviera.

Southern tangs without the frill, the menu has something for everyone, including signature dishes such as Salade Niçoise, Carpaccio du Soleil, Burrata Fraîche, Salade d’Artichauts and Le Coquelet. For more indulgent choices, food enthusiasts can opt for Le Double Cheeseburger or Crème Brûlée A La Pistache.
