Dubai based Shaikha Al Ali is an Emirati designer whose work revolves around the subtle blend of heritage design with avant-garde techniques. Her design sensibilities explore the introduction of structural and constructed design to traditional garments and pieces - combining her love for architecture with fashion. Her signature shoe designs feature a clear heel with sand inside it, representing that her roots are from the deserts of the Middle East.

Katrine Hanna

Katrine Hanna’s eponymous label is the emerging shoe label only refined fashionistas know about. The Lebanese-Australian designer established her brand in 2018, after working with the likes of Alexander Wang. Among her instantly-recognizable designs, Hanna’s comfortable, yet ultra-chic Carmen sandals, come in a multitude of metallic color-ways and are most definitely the desk to dinner shoe we want to be seen in this summer.

Putting Morocco on the fashion map, Zyne was launched in 2016 by best friends and business partners Zineb Britel and Laura Pujol with tradition at heart. The design duo have turned their shoe label, inspired by the traditional Moroccan “babouche” slipper, into a global name and has since been seen on the likes of Meghan Markle.

Sister of renowned influencer, Karen Wazen, doesn’t lurk in her sister’s shadow when it comes to talent. Andrea Wazen is the talented shoe designer seen sported by the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Kylie Jenner, with her brand offering up must have styles. With her experience working with Rupert Sanderson and Christian Louboutin, Andrea officially launched her collection in 2013. Designed and produced in Lebanon, Andrea Wazen’s eponymous label has been a global hit since.

Her styles have been seen on the likes of Rihanna, who she collaborated with on a collection, the Kardashians, and a sea of major style influencers. Working with world class artists, Amina started her brand in Italy before moving to Paris and has since produced one sell-out collection after another.
