It is indeed the work of a collective that shapes this slow fashion handmade brand. A cooperative of women, family-owned businesses, artisans, seamstresses, and tailors, from different Palestinian regions, work hand in hand to create the brand’s items and essence. Everything is produced locally in Palestine, in harmony with the people and the land. It is a female lead label founded by Yasmeen Mialli who makes sure that her brand captures rooted work of local Palestinian craftsmanship and material, such as silk and cotton. Mialli even dyes fabric with natural pigments to be used in her final work.
