Banana Cake

Ingredients

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • ½ cup liquid milk
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter (room temperature)
  • 2 mashed bananas
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon grounded cinnamon
  • Salt
  • Cooking spray

Method

  1. Mix white vinegar with ½ cup of milk, and set aside
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg with vanilla and sugar
  3. Add the butter and mix
  4. Pour the milk and vinegar mix over the eggs mix, and whisk
  5. Add the mashed banana, and whisk
  6. Place a strainer on top of the bowl, and add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt
  7. Whisk all the ingredients well
  8. Use cooking spray at the bottom of the cake tray
  9. Pour the cake mixture in the cake tray
  10.  Mix the powdered sugar with the flour, cinnamon, and melted butter
  11.  Spread the glaze mixture over the cake mixture evenly
  12.  Place cake tray into a pre-heated oven at 170°C for 40-45 minutes
  13.  Serve warm or cold
