Iraqi Kebab

Iraqi kebabs are one of the best and most delicious kebab recipes, and it also doesn’t require a lot of skill. We’ve complied an easy recipe for you, just follow these steps.

OF AN ADULT'S REFERENCE INTAKE

Ingredients

  • 1 & ½ kilos minced beef
  • 1 & ½ kilos lamb meat (with fat / minced)
  • 1 & ½ cups mint (green and chopped)
  • 1 & ½ cups parsley (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons grounded coriander
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sumac
  • 2 teaspoons hot red pepper
  • ¼ cup onions (minced)
  • 10 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoons sweet pepper

Method

  1. In a large bowl, mix the beef with the lamb.
  2. Add mint, parsley, coriander, onion and mix.
  3. Add salt, cumin, black pepper, sumac, hot red pepper, sweet peppers and mix again.
  4. Add the flour and pour the lemon juice, toss the ingredients and mix well to get a firm paste.
  5. Form the kebabs in the form of fingers and stick them in wooden skewers.
  6. Barbecue the fingers of the kebab on charcoal and flip from all sides until its ready.
