M.A.C Joins Forces With 6 Arab Influencers To Create The Ultimate Lipstick Line And It Drops Today!

For the super cool collaboration, our fave Middle Eastern influencers designed gorgeous customised next-gen lip colours…

The unique lipstick shades by the “newest generation of M.A.C Makers” have finally hit the stores. And beauty lovers will need to hunt down the personalised shades co-created by the six iconic Arab influencers as soon as possible as they are available in limited quantities.

The M.A.C campaign underscores the brand’s continuous interest in Arab influencers, with the cosmetics giant partnering with Jordanian make-up artist Hindash, Kuwaiti influencer Farah Al-Hady and Lebanese model Nour Arida. The latest creative collaboration also includes Kuwaiti content creator Lujain Al-Dhafery, Iraqi blogger Dima Al-Sheikhly and Lebanese YouTuber Maya Ahmad.

About a year ago, the make-up and fashion powerhouses who “moved” M.A.C the most were flown to New York so each one could begin the creative process of dreaming up a custom lipstick shade. They are also behind the design of the exclusive gorgeous gold packaging.

Naturally, they have all shared their excitement about the thrilling teamwork on Instagram, hoping lipstick addicts will love their dream shades as much as they do.

"Every woman needs the perfect red lipstick," Arida, who is signed with Elite Model Management, told her 3.4 milllion followers when revealing her vibrant and warm take on the classic colour, which comes with a matte finish.

Meanwhile, Al- Sheikhly shared her matte lipstick, saying on the social media platform, "When working on this shade, my goal was to find a colour that flatters EVERY skin tone as if it’s tailored for her & let’s be honest you can never go wrong with nude!"

And Ahmad described her warm-toned neutral shade with a matte finish as "the perfect peachy nude with the perfect amount of blush undertone." The beauty junkie added it’s the only kind of nude M.A.C doesn’t have.

Hindash took to Instagram saying his sheer rosy-red shade with a lustre finish is "the perfect universal tint to suit all skin tones." The make-up maven said it can be worn alone or as a lip topper and it warms up all nude colours.

M.A.C Loves Arabia
In recent years, M.A.C Cosmetics has partnered with a number of celebrities, influencers and artists from the Arab region on limited-edition collections. These include two with Lebanese actress Cyrine Abdelnour and one with Egyptian counterpart Yasmine Sabri, who worked closely with Saudi make-up artist Nora Bo Awadh to make hers come to life. Last year saw the leading cosmetics brand also teaming up with the Tunisian artist eL Seed, who introduced his signature Arabic calligraphy style to the world of beauty. Additionally, in 2018, Kuwaiti blogger Ahood Alenzi designed a warm brown-beige nude matte lipstick as part of a range. And Kuwaiti social media sensation Fouz Al-Fahad was involved in a lipstick collection with nine other international beauty gurus, bloggers and influencers three years ago.
