Huda Kattan is the beauty and makeup mogul behind her eponymous brand, Huda Beauty, which offers some of the most highly sought after eyeshadow palettes, highlighters, lipsticks and more. Last week, it was announced that Huda Beauty has maintained its position in the “Most In Demand Cosmetics Brand Across The Globe” list for 2020, according to the Cosmetify Index.
Beating other high-profile beauty brands including MAC Cosmetics, Anastasia Beverley Hills, and Kylie Cosmetics, Huda Beauty has secured the top ranking position. The index rankings consist of beauty price comparison website, hashtags, Google search volume, consumer engagement and social media followers. From this year’s data analysis, Cosmetify Index concluded that out of the one 1,710 beauty brands ranked, Huda Beauty is the most purchased and searched for online.

Cosmetify stated, “Huda Beauty has consistently taken the top spot in our ranking, which is little surprise when you see the numbers, with 47.9 million followers on Insta and 27 million hashtag mentions, too. However, it’s been an interesting quarter for the brand, which saw Huda Kattan herself step down as chief executive of the company and focus her energies on other aspects of this. ”After having founded her brand in 2013, Huda Kattan has built a beauty empire like no other. From humble beginnings as a beauty blogger and makeup artist, Kattan found what was missing within the industry at the time as she failed to find existing false eyelashes suitable for the looks she wanted to create. Since she launched those, along with her stunning lip shades back then, her company has become one of the fastest growing beauty brands on the planet.
