Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez is an international megastar – she’s a Hollywood queen, singer, actor, mother, and business-woman. She’s been our superhero since she came onto the R&B scene and established her music career and hasn’t shown signs of slowing down since.
Known for signature “Glow”, which was also the name of her debut fragrance, in 2002, she is now launching her own makeup line, which is set to be available across the Middle East by the end of April.
Lopez is collaborating with Polish beauty brand, Inglot, which has 96 stand-alone stores across the Middle East, and each one is set to stock the superstar’s line.
Inglot is revered for its affordable, yet highly-pigmented products, and the “Maid In Manhattan” star’s line won’t be short of spectacular.
JLo’s, already sought after, collection will host over 70 pieces of makeup which will be available on a global scale, and it was reported by WWD (Women’s Wear Daily), that the collection will include eyeshadows, bronzers, lipsticks and blushes in nude and gold shades.
Latin beauty, Jennifer Lopez, known for her trademark fashion choices and age defying physique, fronts the makeup brand’s campaign, striking a pose against a turquoise background sporting a scarlet dress and lipstick with flawless, dewy skin. Judging by these images, we’re can most certainly expect to attain a similar look from her range of golden shades within her collaborative collection.
She told WWD, “It is something I have been wanting to do for a very long time. A makeup line seemed like a natural progression since people are always asking about the products I use and how I get the glow to my skin. I really wanted to make it representative of what I would like, what I would use, from the color but also the quality,” Lopez said.
Speaking on the accessibility of the much anticipated cosmetics, she said, “The price point was very important to me, which is why I chose to partner with Inglot. We can create great quality products that are affordable.”
It is said that the price of Ms Lopez’s 70 piece beauty line, ranges from $8.50 to $26 for most of the products bar the customizable palette, which will retail at $49.
Along with Lopez’s announcement, singer Rihanna also publicized that her cosmetics line, Fenty Beauty, would now be available in Saudi Arabia from April 19th.
Inglot announced, on their Facebook page, that the celebrity makeup range would be available from 26th April 2018.
