For their recent Alta Moda show in Florence, Dolce & Gabbana showcased an unforgettable collection inspired by Rinascimento and Rinascita. And the tribute to the history, art and timeless elegance of the capital of the Tuscany region (as well as the unparalleled skill of its artisans’ workshops) was truly head-turning. However, in true beauty lover style, many couldn’t stop focusing on the stunning complementary beauty look. Here’s how you can get the captivating look with the Italian luxury label’s signature sophisticated femininity.

Skin

To prep the skin and create the perfect canvas for make-up, apply an even layer of the Secret Shield Protective Smoothing Primer, which helps refine pores and generate luminosity. Next, reach out for some Millennial Skin Tinted Moisturizer to create a natural, fresh and healthy glow. Then, sweep some Solar Glow Illuminating Powder Duo over the cheeks, using the Golden Sand and Bronze Feeling shades to give a sun-kissed contour. Polish it all off by dusting the Sweet Pink and Peach Blossom Power Duo shades onto the apples of the cheeks for a radiant flush.

Eyes

For the natural, sculpted look, you’ll need to get hold of Felineyes Eyeshadow Quad in Warm Nude 5. Blend the lightest nude shades of the palette all over the eyelids to give an even base, and then apply the deeper brown shade along the crease to add contour and definition. The next step is to highlight the inner corner of the eyes with some Intenseyes Creamy Eyeshadow Stick in Gold 6. Just dab on some with your fingertip for a shimmery accent to brighten your eyes. Then, to add intensity to the look, trace The Glam Liner in Black Intense 1 along the upper lashline, ending with a dramatic flick. Continue by enhancing your brows with your favourite The Brow Liner shade to add definition and frame the eyes. And for the final touch, swipe several coats of Passioneyes Intense Volume Mascara in Nero Sicilia 1 to add show-stopping volume to your lashes.

Lips & Nails

Whether you prefer a vibrant shade of red, a delicate pink or a sophisticated nude, apply some matte, velvety Dolce Matte Lipstick onto your puckers with a lipbrush. This will help create a perfect shape that enhances and defines the Cupid’s bow. To complement the look, choose a rich, glossy shades of nude, pink or red nail polish. Some ideas to try include The Nail Lacquer in Honey, Bella, Candy and Lover.
